UK Regulator May Block Microsoft’s Planned Activision Buyout For As Long As 10 Years

Microsoft’s proposed Activision Blizzard acquisition could potentially be blocked in the UK by the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) by as much as 10 years.The regular announced last week that it has decided not to support the planned acquisition of the publishing powerhouse, citing fears that the Xbox format holder may end up dominating the cloud gaming market.
