So… you chose Hollow. Now what? I’ll talk you through what the Type Soul Adjuchas is and how it plays a vital part in becoming an Arrancar!

Type Soul Adjuchas Guide
If you want to become an Arrancar, you must become another evolutionary form beforehand. You can remove your mask at any point in the stages of your evolution, but the longer you wait, the stronger you will be.
Fishbone is the weakest stage of this progression, so I recommend waiting for a later evolution before you remove your mask so you can become stronger. This is the order of Hollow Progression:
- Fishbone
- Menos
- Adjuchas
- Vastolorde
- Arrancar
Fishbone To Adjuchas
As a Fishbone, all you need to do is kill other Hollows and eat them. This will earn you EXP. Once you have enough, you will evolve into a Menos. Now, you must step on the Hollows you find. To do this, equip Menos Cero in your Kido Skill Tree. Again, you’ll earn EXP by doing this, finally turning you into an Adjuchas.
Adjuchas To Vasto Lord
Most players stop here, as you’ll make for a strong Arrancar. That, and the route to becoming Vasto Lorde is very time-consuming.
However, if you want to evolve into a Vasto Lorde, you need to obtain x25 mask cracks. You can get these from killing Adjuchas NPCs in Hueco Mundo. Annoyingly, you only get two for each kill… so it may take some time.
From here, you become an Albino Adjuchas. You can either kill another Albino Adjuchas, or defeat the Vasto Lorde NPC. Again, this takes a lot of time, but if this is your preference, check out the guide I linked above that goes into more detail!
Becoming Arrancar
So, how do you become an Arrancar? The answer is simple… rip off your mask! You do this by pressing CTRL + K (or the ‘Transform’ button if you are on touchscreen). Remember, you can do this at any stage of the evolution. Now you’re an Arrancar, you can unlock Partial Res.
