Coffee Stain Publishing, the publishers of the Goat Simulator Series, has dropped their turn-based tactical fantasy game on Android. It’s Songs of Conquest Mobile. Optimized for mobile gameplay, the game originally launched on PC in May 2022.
The Realm Is Yours to Rule in Songs of Conquest Mobile
The game takes place in the world of Aerbor, where you control Wielders. They are commanders who use both magic and might to conquer lands, raise settlements and lead armies into tactical battles.
Combat here relies solely on strategy. Positioning, spellcasting and army composition play a huge role in every battle. There’s also a variety of ways to play depending on your style. You can focus on overwhelming the enemy with sheer numbers, use clever positioning to outmanoeuvre them or even teleport troops across the battlefield for surprise attacks.
Songs of Conquest Mobile lets you build your own empire, gather resources and construct buildings. You can tailor your army and economy however you see fit, though city-building does have some restrictions.
There Are Four Factions to Choose From
Arleon is full of old-school knights locked in constant power struggles. Rana consists of amphibian-like tribes fighting for survival in their swamps. Loth embraces necromancy to reclaim lost glory, raising the dead to fuel their conquest. And Barya is a faction of mercenaries and inventors who rely on coin, gunpowder and independence.
Songs of Conquest Mobile offers multiple ways to experience its world. You can dive into the four story-driven campaigns. Here, each faction gets its own tale complete with bard-sung songs that evolve as you progress.
If you’re more into freeform battles, you can take on conquest maps that allow for head-to-head fights. There’s also a challenge mode with more strategic puzzles. The game supports single-player, co-op, and multiplayer through local hotseat or online. Head over to the Google Play Store and grab the game.
