British esports organisation Tundra Esports has been named the most-visited Dota 2 team on Liquipedia‘s Dota 2 database in 2024.
Since debuting in 2021, Tundra Esports‘ Dota 2 division has become one of the most popular teams within the esports ecosystem.
In 2022, the organisation won The International, Dota 2’s world championship. After defeating Team Secret in the Grand Finals, the team took home $8.5m (~£6.8m) in prize money.
More recently, it scored a second-place finish at the inaugural BLAST Slam tournament, losing to BetBoom Team in the Grand Finals. The organisation aims to avenge its loss in the second edition of the BLAST Slam occurring from February 3rd to 9th, 2025.
Despite not picking up a tier-one trophy in 2024, Tundra Esports secured consistent results across various events. Last year, the team finished at least in the top four at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024, Riyadh Masters 2024, ESL One Birmingham 2024 and The International 2024.
In 2025, Tundra Esports remains one of the most notable esports organisations competing in Dota 2. It is one of eight teams invited to participate in PGL Wallachia Season 3 taking place in March. Moreover, the organisation is currently competing at FISSURE PLAYGROUND.
According to Liquipedia, visits to the Tundra Esports page rose five places, climbing above the likes of Team Spirit, Gaimin Gladiators and Talon Esports.
In second place on Liquipedia’s list is OG Esports, with Nigma Galaxy, Team Liquid and Team Spirit rounding out the top five.
Outside of Dota 2, Tundra Esports has built a roster of content creators that includes Dutch Liverpool FC defender Virgil van Dijk. The footballer is a shareholder and an ambassador for the organisation. Tundra has also fielded rosters in other esports including Rocket League and Fortnite.
In terms of Dota 2 players, Liquipedia revealed that Team Spirit’s Illya ‘Yatoro’ Mulyarchuk was the most visited Dota 2 player.
