Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation, Tomb Raider Chronicles and Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness are getting a modern makeover in the newly-announced Tomb Raider IV-V-VI Remastered, Aspyr Media has revealed.Following on from the success of Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Starring Lara Croft earlier this year, this latest collection of classic adventure games brings the ‘Darkness Trilogy’ to modern platforms for the first time. As with the previous collection, Tomb Raider IV-V-VI Remastered features the option of playing with enhanced visuals or the original graphical style, modern or tank controls, as well as a Photo Mode to capture your globe-trotting exploits.Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation was originally released in 1999 for the PSOne and later ported to the Dreamcast, and sees Lara Croft spending most of her time in Egypt to avert an apocalypse she inadvertently set in motion. As such, you’ll control Lara during some of her earliest exploits, including a visit to Rome to retrieve the Philosopher’s Stone and guide a teenaged Lara through the haunted Black Isle in Ireland.Completing the collection is the first PS2 entry in the franchise, Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness, which sees Lara on the run for being convicted of a crime she did not commit. The game features more urban locations and gives the nimble treasure hunter a repertoire of new moves and weapons.Tomb Raider IV-V-VI Remastered is coming out on February 14, 2025 for PS5, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
