Tobias Herberhold, former Head Coach of esports organisation Berlin International Gaming (BIG), has stepped down as the CEO of skin trading platform SkinBaron to rejoin the team.
Herberhold will return to BIG as a Performance Coach while remaining with SkinBaron as a Partner for Marketing and Product.

Between 2019 and 2021, Herberhold’s, also known as ‘tow b’, was the Head Coach of BIG’s Counter-Strike roster. In 2020, he received an Esports Awards nomination for ‘Esports Coach of the Year’. However, in 2021 Herberhold left BIG and focused on his role at SkinBaron, which he had co-founded in 2016.
In a post on Herberhold’s LinkedIn page, the former CEO explained that his new role as Performance Coach requires less travel while still allowing him to support his team’s competitive efforts: “The greatest joy for me is analyzing all kinds of training, making continuous improvements, and getting better every day while establishing processes to ensure that performance is always at the highest level. The journey is the goal.”
In the same statement, Herberhold also announced Tobias Andro as his successor. Andro has been with SkinBaron for more than four years, tackling various roles, such as Compliance-Administrator and Chief Operating Officer.
Established in 2017, German esports organisation BIG competes in Counter-Strike 2, League of Legends, Starcraft II, Fortnite, Tekken and Trackmania. The company has partnered with SkinBaron since 2019.
Herberhold continued: “My task will be to stabilise our performance in every aspect, establishing processes to ensure that our performance is always at the highest possible level. I am grateful to BIG for allowing me to take on this role and make all of this possible.”
This year, BIG has signed several new partners, including Logitech G and Acer Predator. Moreover, the organisation launched an esports talent promotion programme called BIG SELECTA. The initiative aims to help young esports talents enhance their skills and elevate their esports careers.
