A deeply influential title, publisher Serenity Forge and developer Freebird Games are over the moon (their pun, not ours) to announce that the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S ports of To the Moon will launch in just a few short weeks, on October 8.
Telling the story of Dr. Rosalene and Dr. Watts, To the Moon gives players the opportunity to rewind the clock back to the start of these two character’s lives. However, there’s a twist – this rewind is only happening in the patient’s Johnny’s head.
With each step back in time, a new fragment of Johnny’s past is revealed. As these two doctors piece together a lifetime’s worth of events, they all seek to find out to decipher Johnny’s last wish.
When it comes to the console releases of To the Moon, these releases will feature a true 16:9 presentation, support for up to 4k resolutions & up to 120hz framerates, DualSense haptics support on the PlayStation 5, and new achievements.
