If you want to unlock all 68 Ticket to Ride achievements, you’re going to need to purchase the game and its ten DLC packs soon, as the video game adaptation of the classic board game will be delisted from the Xbox store in April 2024. Marmalade Game Studio, Days of Wonder, Asmodee Entertainment, and Twin Sails Interactive revealed in a joint announcement that a new Ticket to Ride game is currently in development and slated for release on consoles in 2024. According to the blog post, this new version “promises to be a refreshing take on the iconic board game from Alan R. Moon, elevating the core gameplay with immersive graphics and high production values.”However, the announcement also notes that the “current version” of Ticket to Ride developed by Twin Sails will be rebranded Ticket to Ride: Classic Edition before it’s removed from sale on the Xbox store in April 2024. Ticket to Ride is a digital-only title, so if you don’t own this one already, you may want to pick it up and its ten DLC packs before it’s all lost to the digital ether. With this announcement, you have six months before Ticket to Ride is delisted — here’s hoping it goes on sale so we can pick it up for cheap. As far as we can tell, this announcement only concerns the latest version of the game and not Ticket to Ride on the Xbox 360. In other delisting news, developer HeroCraft has announced that both versions of Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf will be removed from the Xbox store in October.
