The Witcher 4 won’t focus on Geralt but he will feature, says voice actor

With The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt achievements (one of the best Xbox RPGs ever made) now a distant memory for many, fans have been eagerly awaiting the next big installment into The Witcher franchise. While we know that Geralt will not be the main focus of the next The Witcher game, voice actor Doug Cockle has hinted that The Witcher 4 will feature Geralt in some way. Geralt will feature in The Witcher 4, according to Doug CockleIn a new video with Fall Damage, in which Cockle tries to recall some of his most memorable lines, the voice actor teased that we’ll see more of the Butcher of Blavikin in the future. “Witcher 4 has been announced. I can’t say anything about it,” Cockle said. “What we know is that Geralt will be part of the game; we just don’t know how much, and the game won’t focus on Geralt. So it’s not about him this time. We don’t know who it’s about. I’m excited to find out. I want to know! “I have not seen any script yet — I mean, I couldn’t tell you if I did. This is the thing, so I could be lying through my teeth. But I’m not. Or am I?”The Witcher 4 was announced back in 2022, and earlier this year, CD Projekt Red confirmed that the majority of its developers (over 400 people) are now working on the next Witcher game. In addition to The Witcher 4, a remake of The Witcher and a spin-off Witcher game are also in development.
