Surprising no one, Call of Duty is still top of our Xbox gameplay chart, and aside from Rocket League and Rainbow Six Siege swapping places at seventh and eighth, the real changes start when we get outside of the top ten.We know Black Ops 6 is the “biggest Call of Duty release” in franchise history according to Microsoft, and our own data reflects that, with Call of Duty seeing a 159% spike in Xbox players following Black Ops 6’s Game Pass launch. Call of Duty is nearly always in first place anyway, but thanks to Black Ops 6, it’ll likely stay that way for a long time to come.Further down, Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero has fallen from 13th to 17th. It launched in the first half of October, and, with an estimated completion time of 25 to 30 hours, it’s possible players are simply moving onto other things for the time being. Ashen, meanwhile, has re-joined the top 40 at 23rd after being added back into Game Pass. Then we have the first appearance of Dragon Age: The Veilguard in the top 40. It joins the chart at 25th after launching last week to excellent reviews, so it’ll be interesting to see where it lands in next week’s chart.Phasmophobia, meanwhile, makes its first appearance at 27th after the console version arrived for Xbox Series X|S last week. Microsoft Solitaire Collection continues its own little journey up and down the chart, rising four places this week to 30th, but it’s not such good news for the next few games below it. South Park: The Fractured but Whole was added to Game Pass almost three weeks ago, and this week continues its downward trajectory by falling eight places to 31st. Baldur’s Gate 3 has slipped to 32nd, perhaps as more players finish up with its latest Xbox update (and perhaps as they move onto Dragon Age: The Veilguard), and Fallout 76 and Starfield have both dropped too. Starfield has fallen seven places to 34th, which is most likely a result of players moving on after the launch of its Shattered Space expansion. Then we’ve got Madden NFL 24 re-joining the top 40 at 38th, Dead Island 2 (Windows) making its first appearance at 39th after joining PC Game Pass, and DayZ clinging on at 40th.Top 40 Xbox Gameplay Chart for the week ending November 3, 2024Chart compiled using gameplay data from over 2.4 million active Xbox accounts.
