The First PS5 Slim Is Out In The Wild As One Player Is Able To Acquire One

The first PS5 Slim is out in the wild, and photos are already online as one player was able to acquire the new model through the bundled Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 version.Twitter user phantompainss was able to purchase the new bundle, and then published 13 photos, most of which are of the new PS5 model itself, and the others being the horizontal stand the new model comes with, and photos of warning messages regarding the PS5’s disc drive needing to be registered, which happened right on the initial boot.Phantompainss also included comparison shots between the new slim model and the current PS5 model, and it’s clear that the new model is considerably smaller, though not really all that much shorter.The photos regarding the disc drive however do further confirm what we already learned from the side of the Call Of Duty bundle’s box, that you will have to connect your new slim model PS5 to the internet in order to register the disc drive so it can be used.If not, the console will recognize there’s a disc drive attached, but it won’t be usable. The horizontal stand also looks to be two parts, but as previously suspected it’s a much smaller solution than the current stand.It also doesn’t exactly look like it’s up to the task of holding a PS5. It definitely can, you’d like to think Sony wouldn’t have made it be like this if it couldn’t do the one thing it’s meant to.But that doesn’t change the appearance of it not looking at all impressive.
