The First 2024 State Of Play Officially Revealed For This Wednesday, More Than 15 Games Will Be Featured Including Rise Of The Ronin And Stellar Blade

As has become a bit of a pattern with these events, the rumours revealed only hours before are proven true – a new State Of Play showcase, the first one for 2024, is indeed happening on Wednesday, January 31, 2024.It’ll take place at 2pm PT / 5pm ET / 10pm GMT / 11pm CET and you can watch it on YouTube, Twitch and even Tik Tok, if you’re so inclined.The rumours were also right in that Rise Of The Ronin which releases this coming March 2024 is one of the games that will be featured. As far as any of the other rumoured titles however, that’s still up in the air.Rise Of The Ronin and Stellar Blade are the only two games called out by name in the official PlayStation Blog post. But the post does say there will be more than 15 games shown.“Join us January 31 for 40 minutes covering 15+ games, including Stellar Blade and Rise Of The Ronin,” the post reads.What the post doesn’t do is specify if we’ll be getting any PlayStation Studios news, or if it’ll just be a third-party focused event. PlayStation VR2 does also get a mention, so perhaps this is finally the time for Half-Life: Alyx to be revealed.“We’ll give you a new look at other titles coming to PS5 and PS VR2 in 2024 and beyond.” At the very least it sounds like we should have a stronger idea as to what PlayStation’s 2024 will look like.Source – [PlayStation Blog]
