Xbox Game Pass is the gift that keeps on giving. Not only does it provide excellent value for subscribers, games available in the service cover nearly every genre and niche, so you’re bound to find something you’ll enjoy. For achievement hunters, Xbox Game Pass is an even better deal considering there are so many fantastic games that can be completed with relative ease. To help you decide which to tackle first, we’ve pulled the quickest game completions listed in the service that can all be completed in a relatively short amount of time.0-1 hoursTownscaperTownscaper is one of your first stops if you’re an Xbox Game Pass subscriber that’s on the hunt for some easy Gamerscore. The sandbox game’s ten achievements are all pretty easy to unlock and have simple requirements, though you may need one of our guides to help with Propelled, Who goes there?, and Architect. It should take you around 30 minutes to unlock them all and bag yourself a cool 1,000 Gamerscore. 1-2 hoursDeeee Simulator: Your Average Everyday Deer GameAll you achievement hunters will surely be fawning over this one! Deeeer Simulator: Your Average Everyday Deer Game’s 17 achievements can be unlocked in under two hours, perhaps quicker if you use a guide. The achievements don’t ask too much from you, but their requirements can be a little vague. We recommend checking out some of the handy guides other TA members have written if you find yourself stuck on a particular achievement. Rubber Bandits First things first, to complete Rubber Bandits in under two hours, you’re going to need four controllers or some online pals to boost this one with. If you don’t have either of those, you’ll still be able to unlock all 19 of the party game’s achievements by playing with randoms online (it will take you longer than our completion estimate suggests, though!). To complete this one, make sure you follow Risimez’s excellent Rubber Bandits walkthrough, which lays out exactly what you need to do to earn that 1,000 Gamerscore. For those that don’t have the extra controllers or anyone to boost this with, it will probably be worth creating (or joining if there’s one available) a Rubber Bandits Gaming Session. Here you’ll be able to work through the achievement list with other members from TA and get that completion! Doom 64Next up, we’re jumping into Doom 64. The game has ten achievements worth 1,000 Gamerscore, and thanks to Doom 64’s password screen, all of its achievements can be unlocked in less than two hours by following our Doom 64 walkthrough. The walkthrough, written by PangoBara, includes what passwords you need to use to warp through levels and what you need to do to unlock missable achievements such as Persistence is the Key and RVNH3CT1CD3M0???.UnpackingUnpacking, the game where you simply unpack things, was always going to have an easy achievement list. However, an accessibility option that allows you to place items anywhere you want in a room, makes the game’s 25 achievements even easier to unlock. For more on how to complete Unpacking in under two hours, check out our Unpacking walkthrough (written by Rossco7530). Just bear in mind that if you do use the accessibility option, you might not unpack the rather sweet and charming narrative that slowly unfolds as you play. DayZDayZ isn’t a game you’d typically associate with the words ‘quick completion,’ but thanks to a special achievement server set up by members of the TA community, the survival game can be completed in just a couple of hours. To easily unlock all of DayZ’s 13 achievements for another 1,000 Gamerscore, you’ll need to check out this article on how to access the achievement server. The Procession to CalvaryAside from being absolutely hilarious, The Procession to Calvary is also a quick and easy completion. To bag yourself a sweet 1,000G from this point-and-click adventure game, you’ll need to set aside roughly two hours of your time. The achievements are all pretty straightforward to unlock, though each one has been flagged as missable, so it will be worth following DoomScott’s excellent The Procession to Calvary walkthrough, just so you don’t miss any on your playthrough. Donut CountyThe charming physics-based puzzler Donut County is an extremely straightforward completion that should take you between one and two hours to unlock all of its 20 achievements. Although the achievements are all easy to pop, you might need a helping hand here or there. For that, we recommend you check out our Donut County walkthrough, written by Fluke939, or some of the various individual achievement guides we have on TA. Not only is this an easy and quick completion, but it’s also a fun one that you’ll likely enjoy. Gang BeastsAccording to estimates here on TA, Gang Beasts will take you between one and two hours to unlock all 19 of its achievements, and while it is possible to complete the game in or around that time frame, it will be much easier and quicker if you have a second controller or a co-op buddy. Both the controls and the achievements are a little janky in Gang Beasts, so you might find yourself repeating a few of the achievement requirements over and over again until they pop — perseverance is key! We recommend checking out TheOnlyMatto’s superb Gang Beasts walkthrough, which has solutions for each achievement and a bunch of other tips and tricks to help you get the 1,000G. The Little Acre (leaving Xbox Game Pass on December 31st)The Little Acre is a delightful point-and-click adventure that features some wonderful animation and an emotional story. It’s also an easy completion that takes a mere two hours to pop all of its achievements. A good majority of the achievement list is unlocked by playing through the game’s story. The rest are flagged as missable apart from two, which are speed run achievements. The Little Speedrun achievement requires you to beat the game in less than an hour so that one can be a little tricky to pop. If you follow Dwaggienite’s The Little Acre walkthrough, however, you should be able to complete the game in no time at all. 2-3 hoursTwelve MinutesWith a guide, unlocking all 12 of Twelve Minutes’ achievements is a cakewalk, and luckily for you, we have a fantastic walkthrough here on TA. The Twelve Minutes walkthrough (written by DynamicWolfNLD) explains what you need to do to pop all of the game’s achievements (half of which are missable) in just a few hours. Of course, playing with a walkthrough for a game like this can spoil the fun somewhat, so it might be worth playing through Twelve Minutes first unaided and coming back a second time for the achievements. What Remains of Edith FinchWhat Remains of Edith Finch is considered one of the best “walking simulators” in the genre. Thankfully, it’s also got a straightforward achievement list that can be completed in under three hours. The game’s ten achievements aren’t taxing, but they can be missed. Definitely check out NoHeroes94’s well-liked What Remains of Edith Finch walkthrough on how to unlock each achievement. Day of the Tentacle RemasteredDay of the Tentacle Remastered is one of Double Fine’s greatest titles. The simple point-and-click adventure game has 58 achievements worth a total of 1,000 Gamerscore and takes between two and three hours to complete. The achievement list is made up of achievements that can be unlocked by playing through the game’s story and a good number of missable-flagged achievements. To get the full 1,000G, we recommended following Chad and Jessie’s superb Day of the Tentacle walkthrough that details exactly what you need to do to pop those achievements. Full Throttle RemasteredSticking with Double Fine, we have Full Throttle Remastered — another easy completion that should take between two and three hours to unlock all 40 of the game’s achievements. Full Throttle Remastered is similar to Day of the Tentacle Remastered, in which most of the achievements are story related or missable. Unfortunately, we don’t have a walkthrough for this one, but we do have plenty of individual achievement guides that detail exactly what you’ll need to do to pop a certain achievement. 3-4 hoursThe Artful EscapeIf you’re up for an intergalactic psychedelic journey that’s filled with sick guitar licks that will melt your face off, as well as an easy 1,000G, The Artful Escape has got you covered. The adventure game has 12 achievements that can all be unlocked in under four hours. All of them are ridiculously simple, with half being awarded just by playing through the story. Though you probably won’t need it, we do have a The Artful Escape walkthrough (written by ComicKaze23), that will guide you through the process of unlocking each and every achievement as you play.OmnoThe beautiful Omno is not only a fantastic adventure game (check out Heidi’s Omno review to find out why that is) it’s also a pretty straightforward completion. Estimates suggest that it will take you between three and four hours to unlock all of Omno’s 21 achievements. The toughest achievements to unlock are the ones for completing each area, which actually means finding all the orbs, texts, and creatures in a level, though these are pretty easy if you’re following one of the various achievement guides we have here on TA. It also should be noted that one collectable-flagged achievement, The Ascendant, will require you to complete each area as you play through the game — it will not unlock using chapter select.Genesis NoirGenesis Noir’s achievement list may look a little daunting considering all of its achievements are marked ‘Secret’ with no descriptions of what to do. However, all achievements are progression-based bar two, which require you to unlock two different endings. You will unlock 13/14 achievements in a single playthrough, and the final one can be popped easily, thanks to Genesis Noir’s scene select option. Unfortunately, we don’t have a walkthrough available for this one, but TA user pomikoli has provided individual guides for each achievement.3-5 hoursThe Walking Dead: MichonneAll Telltale games are notoriously easy completions, but most take upwards of eight hours to complete. The Walking Dead: Michonne is an exception to that rule thanks to the game having just three episodes. In total, it will take you about five hours to unlock all of the achievements from each episode, providing you’re not interested in exploring what the game has to offer fully. All achievements are popped by playing through the story, so you can’t really go wrong with this one for an easy 1,000G. If you need it, we have a The Walking Dead: Michonne walkthrough, written by GoW Butters, that details the quickest way to blitz through the game’s achievements. 4-5 hoursFirewatchNext, we’re moving away from the zombie-filled world of The Walking Dead to the calm and serene countryside of Firewatch. The first-person narrative adventure has just ten achievements, all with a chunky 100 Gamerscore each, that can be unlocked in under five hours. Half of them are unlocked by playing through the game’s story, and the rest have miscellaneous requirements. For an easy way to unlock them all, follow hypobonix’s Firewatch walkthrough, which is filled with handy tips and explains exactly what you need to do to grab that 1,000G. 6-8 hoursHellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is not only a fantastic game; it’s also a pretty easy completion. All but one of Hellblade’s 14 achievements are unlocked by completing the story. The only achievement that can’t be popped via the story is one that requires you to collect all of the 44 lorestones scattered throughout its eleven chapters. There isn’t a chapter select in the game, so if you miss one, you’re going to have to replay Hellblade and work your way through the lorestones again. For that reason, we recommend following KylKo’s excellent Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice walkthrough. If you’re looking for quick and easy games for the PC version of Game Pass, check out our easiest and fastest game completions in PC Game Pass article. This article was updated on December 21st, 2021 to reflect recent changes in the Xbox Game Pass library.
