Details and screenshots of Ubisoft’s upcoming free-to-play shooter The Division Heartland have leaked via the Ubisoft Store ahead of a Ubisoft Forward event.Ubisoft and developer Red Storm announced Tom Clancy’s The Division Heartland for consoles and PC back in 2021 with little detail, other than it’s a standalone game that will offer a new setting and perspective on The Division universe. Now, thanks to a Ubisoft Store page that looks to have gone live early by mistake and has since been pulled, we have some screenshots and a few more details about the game. The Division Heartland screenshotsThe game’s description says The Division Heartland is a “free-to-play survival-action multiplayer shooter set in small-town Middle America.” You will play as one of six agents and “select between three classes each match, all with their own perks and skills.”Heartland also promises “massive PvEvP” multiplayer battles. “Fight together in 45-player Storm Operations against a group of dangerous Rogue agents, an aggressive faction known as Vultures, all while surviving a lethal virus.” We’ll also have to “complete PvE missions, gather gear, activate alerts, and prep the battlefield in Excursion Operations.”Ubisoft has confirmed that it will be showing more of The Division Heartland during a Ubisoft Forward event on September 10th, which will also feature Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Skull & Bones.
