Update:Following The Crew Showcase 2024, Ubisoft has announced that The Crew 2 and The Crew Motorfest will be getting offline modes in the future. This means you hopefully won’t need to worry about server closures discontinuing entire achievement lists in both games.Original story; You can start collecting The Crew 2 achievements without breaking the bank, as the Xbox store has the game on sale for a ludicrously low price. For whatever reason, The Crew 2 is on sale for $1 during this week’s Xbox sales. You can grab The Crew 2 for an absolute bargainWhile at full price, The Crew 2 will usually cost you $49.99 / 39.99 / €49.99, the Xbox store has slashed its price considerably this week, offering it for just $1 / £0.80 / €1. Only the standard edition is discounted, so you’ll need to shell out more if you want some of the extra content, but as it doesn’t have any DLC achievements, you can unlock the game’s full 1,000 Gamerscore for that low $1 asking price. It’s unclear why exactly Microsoft has it on sale for so cheap. Ubisoft delisted 2014’s The Crew and closed its servers recently, but we’re yet to hear of a similar fate befalling its sequel. With that said, Ubisoft is hosting a live stream later today to reveal upcoming content for The Crew Motorfest, so perhaps news of The Crew 2’s impending doom will be announced then. In other Ubisoft news, one of its investors is demanding changes at the company after Ubisoft’s share price plummeted following the launch of Star Wars Outlaws — which now has a fresh updated available.
