Apex currently has 29 guns in the game. Each gun is unique from the other. They have different recoil curves to learn and different forms of damage output. The R-301 is the granddaddy of all assault rifles in Apex. It is a light gun and has the most widely available ammo type. Flatline

The EVA-8 is a full auto shotgun in Apex Legends. A shotgun does not follow the traditional DPS form in the game as the kind of bolt used has a lot to do with it. The peacekeeper is the strongest shotgun in the game. The only reason why it’s not an S-tier gun is that it is a little difficult to learn. Getting consistent shots from it is difficult. However, the shots hit like a truck. With the addition of disruptor rounds, the gun shreds through body armor. It can also choke its bullets allowing for a tighter more damaging shot.
R-99

The R-99 is one of the best guns Apex has to offer. It has consistently been an S-tier weapon over the years. The gun was knocked down to A+ this season because of a nerf it got for being too good. The gun has a smaller magazine size now. The gun also has crazy recoil and every single shot counts because of the lower mag size.
Kraber

The Kraber is the most damaging gun in the game. A headshot can take down enemies with one shot if they are not at the highest armor tier. The gun is only in A+ because it used to one-tap enemies before. The gun is already difficult to master and one-tapping enemies was the ultimate reward for getting good at the game.
