Bluehole has announced that it’s pulling the plug on its popular MMO TERA, which has been going strong for nearly a decade now.It should be noted that the statement below refers to the PC version of the game, and while it remains to be seen what happens to the PS4 version, it’s very likely to suffer the same fate. Here’s what publisher Gameforge had to say:After careful deliberations, the developers of TERA have unfortunately taken the difficult decision to end development of the game, as they feel that they are no longer able to provide the satisfying content that TERA players deserve. Instead, they would like to focus their internal development efforts on other projects.Gameforge has happily hosted a great community in TERA for almost 10 years now, and would have happily served players even longer, but without the support of the developers this is not feasible.Related Content – Sony PS5 Complete Guide – Everything Explained On PlayStation 5 For New UsersThe TERA servers will shut up shop on June 30, 2022, although purchases of Tera Thalers and the chance to buy content at the TERA club will be deactivated one month prior.[Source – Gameforge]
