Tyson ‘TenZ‘ Ngo, Sentinels’ recently retired star player, has once again claimed the title of the most visited VALORANT player on Liquipedia in 2024.
In terms of organisations, Sentinels remains the most visited VALORANT team, followed by VCT Pacific powerhouse, Paper Rex.
Ever since entering the VALORANT competitive scene with Cloud9 in 2020, the Canadian quickly became the face of VALORANT esports, in no small part due to his plays on Jett. In June 2021, TenZ was purchased by Sentinels for a reported buyout between $1.25m to $1.5m.
He led Sentinels to victory at VALORANT Masters Reykjavík 2021, securing the title of tournament MVP and lifting the game’s first-ever international trophy. Not only that, but TenZ was also the first player to reach the VALORANT rank—now known as Radiant—and the first North American to win two Masters titles, the second being Masters Madrid 2024.
Before announcing his retirement in September 2024, he competed in VALORANT Champions 2024, marking the final event of his career. However, he is still signed with Sentinels as a content creator, focusing on streaming and watch-partying Sentinels matches.
Following TenZ in Liquipedia’s 2024 most-visited players list is MIBR’s Aspas, who climbed eight spots from 2023. Additionally, the list features two more Sentinels players, zekken and johnqt, in the top 10.
A major highlight of the rankings is Florescent breaking into the top five, becoming the only former Game Changers player to enter the list. Florescent recently made history as the first-ever GC player to enter VCT and is currently competing for 2024 EMEA Ascension winners, Apeks.
