Ubisoft has announced that For Honor Year 5 Season 3: Tempest will kick off on September 9th with the Storm Tides limited-time launch event, and it will see the return of the Covenant Games, a new Battle Pass, and more. It’s time to sharpen your blade, tighten your armour, and look for a snorkel because For Honor Year 5 Season 3: Tempest is flooding the game on September 9th. This season’s theme is the complete opposite of the drought we experienced in Year 5 Season 2. The gods heard our warrior’s calls for hydration and have answered in kind, causing a storm and flooding the game with tidal waves. In fact, the limited-time launch event is exactly that: Storm Tides opens up the Free Event Pass to all players and offers new weapons to loot. Later on in the season, you’ll be able to take part in the Wrath of the Jormungandr event — but we’ll have to let you know the details closer to the time. The Covenant Games are also making a return in Year 5 Season 3, this time showing up as the Heralds of Chimera game mode and offering those participating a new Battle Outfit and Ornament for their bravery. Of course, it wouldn’t be a new season without a new Battle Pass and For Honor Year 5 Season 3 comes packed with new Battle Outfits, Ornaments, Executions, and a heap more. There’s even a unique Execution available in the store for 7,000 Steel if you don’t mind fronting some cash. Testing Grounds will also be returning between September 16th and September 30th, this time with a focus on the Dominion game modes capture speed, hard point, tracking, and UI. Shinobi will be in featuring again for further testing. After the player feedback from the previous Testing Grounds phase, Orochi, Raider, Options Selects, and smaller fight changes will be implemented. Will you be diving into the For Honor Year 5 Season 3: Tempest content when it starts on September 9th?
