We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Support Engineer to join our team. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting an operations team responsible for inspecting wind turbines across the globe. Your primary responsibilities will be providing technical support to ensure successful turbine inspections, as well as developing software solutions to enhance the inspection process.

Responsibilities:

Support Operations Team (50%):

Provide technical assistance and guidance to the operations team to resolve issues and optimize turbine inspections
Troubleshoot problems with equipment, data collection tools, and software used during inspections
Collaborate with team members to identify and prioritize technical issues related to turbine inspections
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of wind turbine inspection processes and procedures

Software Development (50%):

Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions to support wind turbine inspections
Work closely with the operations team to understand their needs and requirements for data collection, analysis, and reporting
Develop and maintain software tools to streamline data processing, visualization, and reporting
Collaborate with other technical teams to ensure integration of new software developments with existing systems

Required Qualifications

3+ years experience with building Android mobile applications in a professional setting
2+ years experience working with operations and engineering stakeholders
2+ years experience with DJI, PX4 or ArduPilot SDKs
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or C++
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of computer vision or machine learning concepts
Experience with robotics concepts
Experience with CI systems
