According to a report on Eurogamer, British publisher Team17, best known for their work on the Worms franchise, is set to suffer significant losses in wake of a company restructure. In addition to the losses, which are believed to affect Team17’s internal Quality Assurance team, Michael Pattison, the CEO of the company, is expected to depart the publisher. Roughly 50 positions are at risk as a result of Team17’s restructuring process, with the company set to outsource QA work instead. Right now it isn’t known about the extent that other departments within Team17 are going to be affected by its restructuring plans. Earlier this year the company’s internal development teams suffered layoffs, although at the time staff were informed that no further losses were planned.
