European esports organisation Team Vitality has renewed its existing EA FC esports partnership with French club Lille Olympique Sporting Club (LOSC).

As a result, both of the clubs will continue to operate a single competitive roster in EA Sports FC’s 2024/25 competitive season.

The EA FC roster consists of returning coach Johann Simon, who renewed his contract with the organisation, alongside French talents Ilian Bouchi and Brice Masson.

The EA FC team will continue to have access to training facilities at Team Vitality’s V.Performance Centre at the Stade de France. Outside of esports, the roster will be able to attend LOSC Lille club football matches, alongside gaining access to its football training centre called Domaine de Luchin.

French club LOSC’s real-world football team is currently fourth in Ligue 1, the country’s top-flight league. LOSC’s collaboration with Team Vitality for the third year will ensure that the football club continues to make its mark in virtual EA FC esports.

In a release, both of the clubs outlined their goals for the upcoming EA Sports FC competitive season, which include securing the first national eLigue 1 McDonald’s title and competing on the international stage at the 2025 Esports World Cup.

Since its inception in 2013, Team Vitality has continued to make strides in the esports industry and is known as one of Europe’s major organisations. Notably, Team Vitality has gone through a major organisational change with Vas Roberts, former CCO of Misfits Gaming Group, joining the French esports organisation as its co-CEO. Earlier this year, the organisation also expanded into Honor of Kings.

On the partnership renewal, Nicolas Maurer, Co-Founder and CEO of Team Vitality commented: “Extending our partnership with LOSC for a third season is a true source of pride. It reflects our shared vision and commitment to pushing the boundaries between traditional sports and esports.

“Together, we’re investing in rising domestic talents like Ilian and Brice, and this new season promises exciting opportunities for our players and clubs, both in France, and internationally. We’re ready to seize these winning opportunities!”
