Tales of Tanorio Kitweed Evolution
Kitweed has taken the player base by storm with its astonishingly adorable features. Just look at those round eyes and whiskers! Similarly to Citrin, Kitweed uses the Huggable ability in combat. This ability decreases the Ranged ATK of an enemy by 1.
How to Evolve Kitweed
To evolve Kitweed to its next form, you must level it up to 30. Once it hits level 30, it evolves into Pufferal! As Kitweed is a Grass Type Tanorian, you’re going to want to focus on battling against opponents that are weak to this Type.
However, going up against any opponent is a good thing, as it all amounts to EXP in the end. Kitweed is a base Tanorian, so while it’s not the strongest, it’s a stepping stone to the absolute unit of a final form, Dandylion.

- Speed: 48
- Ranged DEF: 30

Second Evolution: Pufferal
You obtain Pufferal after your Kitweed reaches level 30! Note that the Pufferal does not wander around any of the routes, so you need to rely on the evolution process to get this Tanorian. Its appearance is a little difficult to describe, as it turns into a slightly larger lion-shaped creature, but with fur that covers its eyes.

Final Evolution: Dandylion
This big fella looks like a combination of a lion and a Dandelion, which explains the name choice. To obtain this Tanorian, you need to level your Pufferal to level 40! Being the final evolution of Kitweed, Dandylion is not only a Grass Type Tanorian, but a Light Type too.
The special thing about this Tanorian, however, is that it’s classed as a ‘pseudo-legendary’. This means that it has the same stats as a Legendary without it actually being a Legendary. Its stats are as such:

How to Obtain Kitweed
Kitweed is found wandering through the bushes of Route 2 and has a 5% chance of appearing, making it a pretty rare base Tanorian overall. You can also find Kitweed explore the Nature Preserve on Route 4.
This Tanorian is weak to Bug, Fire, Poison, Air, and Ice Types. So, having at least one member in your party who wields one of these Types is a surefire way of getting Kitweed! Although, you need to be careful that you don’t knock it out before you manage to use your Tanocan. As for what it is resistant against, Kitweed takes little to no damage from Electric, Light, Grass, Water, and Earth Types.
