Lausanne, Switzerland – We are delighted to announce the participation of RigiTech as the newest member of Drone Logistics Ecosystem (DLE). RigiTech is considered one of the largest medical drone delivery operators in Europe, with its headquarters in Switzerland. The company has recently received BVLOS approval from the French Civil Aviation Authorities. Representing a major milestone for RigiTech and its partner, French laboratory Biogroup, this route is the first approved recurrent drone delivery route to take place within controlled airspace in France, and one of the firsts in Europe. RigiTech joins DLE to collaborate with its existing partners to standardize the drone logistic industry, with regards to technical, operation and commercialization aspects.
“A central facet of our work for the future is airspace coexistence, working towards access to airspace, deconfliction, inter-platform communication and remote supervision. Collaborating with DLE partners in the drone delivery industry helps us approach complex obstacles like improving mobile connectivity for UASs, removing the need for ground-based operators and allowing multi-drone supervision in regulations.” – Adam Klaptocz, CEO and Co-Founder of RigiTech.
About Drone Logistics Ecosystem™
Drone Logistics Ecosystem (DLE) is a global/virtual network of Companies, Universities, the Public/Governments, and Investors operating in the drone logistics industry. The aim of the DLE is to bring together stakeholders to collaborate on the standardization of the rapidly emerging industry. Hence, accelerating cross-border marketing and commercialization of products and services of its members . Since most of the companies in this industry are early-stage start-ups with limited access to funding, manpower and expertise, DLE is the ideal platform for companies to share their expertise to co-develop products and services and/or acquire necessary cross-border market access in partnership with other members.
In one year, DLE has expanded to include 46 organizations, consisting of 42 companies, 2 universities, Chesterfield County (Virginia, US), and the world’s largest drone association, Japan UAS Industrial Development Association (JUIDA), across 21 different countries. In this short period of time, we have kickstarted several international proof-of-concept projects among our members. Besides the technology collaborations, DLE offers a space for companies cooperating on business developments for cross-border market access through partnership i.e. local representation, agent, reseller, joint venture, etc.
The pandemic period taught us how to rely more on LinkedIn communication tools to stay connected. DLE is currently one of the few LinkedIn pages with the main focus on the commercial Drone Delivery/Logistics industry, with a steady followership growth of 5,000 followers in one year. Please join us either as new members or just follow us and learn more about the latest development in the DRONE DELIVERY INDUSTRY.
