Konami has announced that its explosive icon will be blasting back onto Xbox next year in Super Bomberman R 2, bringing a slew of new content and game modes along with some familiar favourites when it launches in 2023.This new Bomberman game’s reveal comes less than a month after Konami announced the server closure for Super Bomberman R Online coming in December, although it looks like the set-to-blow free-to-play game’s 64-player battle royale mode will be making a comeback in this sequel, as well as R 2 adding a weird new 1v15 tower defense-style mode.
