Streamer And Former Developer Dr. Disrespect Is Starting His Own Game Development Studio

The streamer and former level designer for Sledgehammer Games, Guy “Dr. Disrespect” Beahm, has announced that he is starting his own game development studio in collaboration with BoomTV, and he plans to work with what he calls ‘mega influencers’ to put out a series of games.The news was first reported by website VGC, who spotted a job advertised on Dr. Disrespect’s website that is looking for someone to head up his new gaming studio. The studio will look to make AA/AAA quality games, while working with influencers and indie developers alike.“The studio plans to forge a partnership with a select list of mega influencers and then work closely with them to launch their dream gaming title” the job advert reads. “Those gaming titles will either be incubated and developed OR partner/co develop with existing indie game developers and launched as mega titles.”Who knows what kind of games his new studio will have, but currently they don’t yet have a name, so it’ll be some time before we hear something a little more solid.Source – [VGC]
