The medieval battlefield in Price of Glory is going to be more intense now with its latest update 1.4. The game’s Alpha 1.4 update is rolling out with upgrades like a revamped tutorial and full 3D visuals. Keep reading to find out all about it.
If you haven’t played Price of Glory yet, let me give you a quick lowdown on it. It’s a 2D multiplayer turn-based strategy game set in a medieval fantasy world. You set up defenses and battle through deserts, dense forests and lava-covered warzones.
What’s New in Price of Glory Update 1.4?
The 3D addition to Price of Glory is definitely the highlight of update 1.4. The maps are now fully rendered in 3D, adding more depth to the battlefield. Units now have idle animations and particle effects.
Scouting has also become more immersive as your units can cut through the fog of war, revealing enemy positions and hidden threats.
Next, there are new Heroes with special abilities. Worp, for example, is a mech hero with teleportation skills while Blix can steal an enemy unit and convert them to your side.
Resource management is still at the core of Price of Glory, with Animo being the key to summoning units, moving, attacking and using abilities. You get a limited amount per turn though.

New to the Game?
For newcomers, the updated tutorial makes getting into the game way easier. It walks you through the basics, from managing Animo to understanding unit strengths and making the best plays.
And once you’ve got the hang of it, you can dive into Skirmishes, the game’s casual mode for quick, low-pressure matches. Or you can directly jump into tournaments where up to 64 players battle in a single-elimination bracket.
