According to the release, the two agencies will provide current and prospective clients with extensive industry knowledge, category authenticity and global resources.

Ryan Polun, Head of Esports and Gaming (Americas) at SPORTFIVE, commented: “In the spirit of sharpening some of our service disciplines across esports and gaming, the decision to partner with Bad Moon Talent was a no-brainer.

“This partnership with Bad Moon Talent improves – overnight – our ability to support brands and rights holders looking to enter, solidify or sharpen their positions in gaming.”

SPORTFIVE launched its global esports unit in August 2020 and recently expanded its esports capabilities in the US. Moreover, the agency’s esports section is supported by a network of local market experts across brand and rightsholder management, partnership sales and activations.

The company recently acquired esports consulting and activation agency Build a Rocket, which now serves as SPORTFIVE’s esports consulting and activation arm.
