Following its delay last month into the second half of 2024, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will now pit the Ultramarines against the Tyranid scourge on September 9, 2024, for Xbox Series X|S.Captain Titus will now return to our screens in September, Focus Entertainment has announced at The Game Awards, bringing his Ultramarine buddies to Xbox Series X|S for a brutal single-player and co-op adventure. It was initially set to launch this month, with the beautiful Warhammer 40K: Space Marine Collector’s Edition, but it was delayed in November to give Sabre additional time for further polish.After hearing how Sabre creative director Oliver Hollis-Leick feels that the first game “did so much right,” in our Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 interview, it comes as no surprise that the team would want as much time as possible to craft this sequel.Unlike the first game, Space Marine 2 won’t have a multiplayer mode, unfortunately, but it does feature a co-op campaign — which looks awesome in the co-op trailer.Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will now launch on September 9, 2024, for Xbox Series X|S.
