Southern Comfort reveals a ridiculous booze-dispensing Xbox Series X accessory

Stepping away from the more straight-laced news hitting our front page today, Southern Comfort has revealed a ridiculous SoConsole Xbox Series X accessory. The SoConsole (a clever play on the condensed SoCo name) is an unofficial Xbox Series X attachment that acts like an oversized Pez dispenser for 50ml shooter bottles of Southern Comfort. Southern Comfort announces SoConsole Xbox Series X attachmentAccording to the Southern Comfort SoConsole press release, the attachment has been “engineered for those over the age of 21 who crave excitement and the latest in tech disruption.” Once attached to an Xbox Series X, the “innovative console shell elevates gameplay by allowing players to ‘order’ a 50ml shooter from the SoConsole when they are in the throes of a heated battle and need it most.”Once plugged in, the SoConsole’s Sour Up front plate lights up and you’re able to control the device via an included remote. It holds three 50ml shooter bottles, which can be replaced via a removable top plate, and dispences the bottles at the press of a button.“SoCo wants every experience to be fun and social, and that includes gaming. But listen, we’re a whiskey brand and not a gaming brand, so we focused not on redefining existing tech gamers’ love, but instead on infusing the gaming experience with more excitement,” Southern Comfort global brand director David Binder says. “Avid players are craving a more interactive and social experience with friends, whether they’re celebrating a hard-fought victory or unwinding after an epic fail.
