Missions are the heart of early game content, so getting to grips with them is definitely important. If you’re feeling a bit overwhelmed, don’t worry! Our Sorcery Missions guide breaks down all the info into bite-sized sections so you know what to do whatever Mission you drop into.

Sorcery is out now on Roblox. While you’re here, maybe take a look at our Sorcery Domain Expansion guide.

Sorcery Missions Guide

Your Missions, if you choose to accept them.

How To Start A Mission

If you want to hop into a Mission, it’s pretty easy. Simply head over to the Missions marker at the hideout. If you’re looking to play with others, make sure you party up before you head to the Missions door, as soon as you go through you’ll be transported to one, and it’s in a whole different server.

Mission Types

As of the current update there are three different Mission types.

Extermination

This is the one Mission available right now that differs for Sorcerers and Curses. You’ll be transported to a map with hostiles and passive human NPCs. If you’re a Sorcerer, you need to take out all Curses on the map. If you’re a Curse, you have to take out and consume the Humans and Sorcerers on the map. Use your Cursed Sense to figure out who is who!

This can be a bit of a tricky one, especially if you’re low-level, so don’t worry if you can’t make a lot of progress in these missions early on. Focus on the other two, the Curses in particular can hit pretty hard.

Hostage Retrieval

Here you’ll spawn on a map with hostile enemies, and several passive hostages, who are sat down and wrapped in chains.

To win, you need to find each of the hostages, pick them up with V, and carry them to a drop zone marked on your map. Using Cursed Sense is very useful here. You can put hostages down anywhere, so it’s possible to work as a team and have one player run them from a central drop-off to the target while other players focus on searching.

Cursed Object

Right now this is probably the easiest type of mission, as long as you get it right at the start. In Cursed Object Missions, you need to use your Cursed Sense to locate a small box somewhere on the map, this is the Cursed Object. When you get to it you press G to interact with it. Then a counter will start counting down from 100. Every time you hit G, you apply blood to the Cursed Object, and restore some points to the counter. Just keep the counter from reaching 0 before the Mission time runs out.

Mission PVP

Occasionally you may start a Mission and get a notification that you’ve got company. An Executioner is on the way. This means another player from the other faction is on the Mission map, and there to make you life harder. Now you need to pursue your objective. and deal with the unwanted guest.

Mission Rewards

On successfully completing a Mission, you receive XPMost items in the game are available as a reward for completing Sorcery Missions. The rewards are pretty much random, so if you want to get a specific item, you might need to get on the grind.
