Sorcery Forgotten Orb Guide
The Forgotten Orb has one simple use, to reset the player’s Stats. This includes wiping their investments into their Cursed Energy, Agility, Vitality and Strength. The points may then be recycled to overhaul your character build and create something new. Strangely enough, the Forgotten Orb isn’t the only way to reset stats in Sorcery.
When a player chooses to become Heavenly Restricted they discard the need for Cursed Energy in favour of bulking their other stats and obtaining superhuman strength. The act of becoming Heavenly Restricted ‘wipes’ the player, essentially acting as a Forgotten Orb with extra steps and a massive change to the player’s build.
Alternatively, if you don’t want your Forgotten Orb, the Merchant NPC will happily take it off your hands in exchange for 150 Essence.
How To Find A Forgotten Orb
Forgotten Orbs sit comfortably in the rare item category. They don’t show up often but equally aren’t grind-intensive to find. To find a Forgotten Orb, you’ll need to hop into a Mission and explore the map for the random drops. Missions are currently the only way to source any item in Sorcery, and each Mission has different requirements with some being much easier than others. To leave a Mission with your found items, you must complete the given Mission successfully and be extracted.
- Exterminate Curses – Find and kill all Curses on the map.
- Execution – Invade the Mission of another player and attempt to assassinate them.
- Devour – Slaughter all humans in the area.
- Savior – Find and rescue all hostages before the timer runs out using E+N to locate them amongst the captors.
- Cursed Object – Use your E+N sense to locate the Red Circle and begin feeding blood into it to keep the Cursed Object health above 0% until the timer expires.
