Sony Reveals That Aloy’s Forest Project Planted Over 600,000 Trees Around The World

Sony Interactive Entertainment has revealed that its partnership with Guerrilla Games in supporting reforestation projects around the world has resulted in some 600,000 following its launch in February 2022.The initiate, known Aloy’s Forests, is supported by UN Environment Programme Play4Forests, and is part of the Playing for the Planet Alliance. In addition to the 600,000 trees planet globally, it also saw an estimated 1,800 acres of indigenous lands and wildlife habitats restored.Here’s a reminder of the mission statement from last year’s announcement:The storyline of Horizon Forbidden West reminds us of the importance of nature, biodiversity and climate change – significant challenges that the world, and all of us are facing.
