The next instalment in SEGA‘s long-running Sonic the Hedgehog series is reportedly known as Sonic X Shadow Generations, according to tipster @MbKKssTBhz5. In case you haven’t been keeping up with our State of Play coverage the past day or so, it has been heavily rumoured that a Sonic Generations remaster will be announced at the Sony event tomorrow. While nothing has been confirmed yet, it’s looking likely that Sonic X Shadow Generations could be the game in question, although whether it’s a new title or a remaster remains unknown at this point.The leaker also noted that there is a sonicxshadowgenerations.com domain registered, although if you go there now it simply displays a 404 error.
