Rebellion has now confirmed a release date for Sniper Elite 5. The stealthy third-person shooter comes to Xbox consoles on May 26th and joins Xbox Game Pass on day one. Alongside the Sniper Elite 5 release date, Rebellion dropped a new trailer that gives us an overview of the game’s story, which sees returning elite marksman Karl Fairburn working with the French Resistance to uncover and put an end to a secret Nazi project called Operation Kraken. Pre-orders for two editions of Sniper Elite 5 are also live. There is the Standard Edition, which will set you back $59.99/£54.99/€59.99, and the Deluxe Edition, which includes the Season One Pass for $89.99/£79.99/€89.99. The Season One Pass includes two campaign missions, six weapon packs, two weapon skin packs, two character skin packs, and the Target Führer: Wolf Mountain mission.
