Slingshot Stunt Driver & Sport is a game about flinging a car as far as you can along a track made of loops, jumps and massive corners. While the drag-and-fire controls are pretty easy to get to grips with, there are other parts of the game that are going to need you to pay a little more attention.

That’s why we’ve written this guide. It’s made up of all the hints, tips and tricks that we’ve discovered during our time playing the game. If you follow these strategies you’re going to start enjoying Slingshot Stunt Driver & Sport even more.

Whether you’ve already thrown a few cars or you’re just stepping up to the slingshot for the first time, you’re going to find something here that’ll help you out. So let’s do this – here are the very best hints, tips and cheats for Slingshot Stunt Driver & Sport.

Don’t overshoot

You need to land in the green glowing zones, not just get past them. Sure, you might have gone farther than the checkpoint, but if you don’t touch part of the zone you’ll get dropped back at the previous catapult and have to shoot again. If you do overshoot, try adding less power to your next try.

Add some flips and tricks

Flips and tricks – which you perform by swiping on the screen when you’re airborne – will give you extra coins. These can come in super handy when you’re upgrading your vehicle, so try and pull off as many as you can. They’re best used when you’re missing a target, since they’ll get you the funds you need quicker.

Upgrade evenly

Don’t just focus on upgrading one of the three options – slingshot, engine and bonus – instead try and keep them all at a similar level. The bonus upgrade is particularly useful because it’ll get you extra coins while you play.

Don’t skip

When you’ve fired a shot and it’s obvious you’re not going to make it to the target, it can be tempting to tap the skip button to move on to your next attempt. You should avoid doing this at all costs, though. The skip button will actually take some of your coins away from you, which is pretty much the opposite of what you want. Even if the game glitches and you get stuck, it’s smarter to close it down and restart.

You don’t need to hit the exact multiplier

At the end of each level there’s an extra chunk that sees you catapulting through a series of multipliers. You don’t have to land on the exact multiplier, just pull all the way back on the catapult and make sure you’re aiming for the gold coins.
