Seeming delayed for an eternity, we finally got a good look at some extended gameplay from Ubisoft’s Skull & Bones ahead of its release on PS5 this November.A seemingly action packed third-person perspective pirate adventure that attempts to recall the essence of the superb Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Skull & Bones takes players on a journey from an exile to a pirate captain, as they take on all manner of quests, customise their ship, tailor the crew and more as they seek out the treasure buried throughout the Indian Ocean all the while seeing off the advances of other pirates folks. After being treated to a suitably epic opening cinematic, Ubisoft didn’t waste any time in showing us some gameplay from Skull & Bones. Showing off some ship to ship combat, the new gameplay trailer focused early on the customisation of the ship itself, allowing players to tweak everything from armour and speed, all the way through to the type of ammo that you use to destroy your foes.Taking place in a PvPvE environment, players can not only opt to toggle the involvement of other players, but Skull & Bones will be cross-play at launch too.You can catch the latest gameplay trailers for Skull & Bones below:Skull & Bones is set to release for PS5 on November 8, 2022.
