Portuguese esports organisation SAW has announced that the Counter-Strike case opening platform Skin.Club will be the team’s primary sponsor going forward.

According to a release, the two companies will collaborate to create activations and deliver new content to Counter-Strike fans. Specifics of these activations, and when these will occur, have yet to be announced.

SAW joins fellow esports organisation Team Vitality as a sponsor of Skin.Club. The previous partnership was announced in August of this year and saw the case opening platform’s branding featured on Team Vitality’s jerseys, the two companies also aimed to run a variety of activations both in person and on Vitality’s app.

Earlier in the year, the Portuguese organisation secured a deal with Esports Charts to enhance its social media and livestreaming performance. Specifically by using a subsidiary of Esports Charts, Streams Charts, and its Sponsor Banner Tool, the deal allows the esports organisation to track the media value of personal streams from its content creators.

Counter-Strike skin businesses has always been tied heavily with esports, and this year alone there have been key examples of that. This includes YaLLa Esports partnering with BitSkins for Compass 2024, and popular streamer Ohnepixel, alongside player agency Ulti Agency, becoming the owners of skin trading site Skinbid.

A representative from Skin.Club spoke on the partnership: “At Skin.Club, we’re passionate about esports and its community that drives it forward. Partnering with SAW, a team that embodies skill, dedication, and the love for CS2, is a perfect reflection of our commitment to supporting the competitive spirit and creating meaningful connections within the global gaming community.”
