Knowing what to press and when makes all the difference when it comes to football games. Otherwise, you may lose control of the ball, miss a pass, or not run fast enough, ultimately letting your whole team down! Our Skillful controls guide goes through all the ones you need to know about for keyboard and touchscreen users, and what they do.

Skillful Controls Guide
These are all of the default controls for keyboard users. Therefore, if yours are a little different than the ones we show here, you may have changed your settings in the past.
- Q – Dribble the ball
- T – Call for a pass
- G – Activate your flow
- R – Toggle the curve direction
- F – Slide tackle another player
- Hold Left Click – Charged kick
- Release Left Click – Kick the ball
- Left + Shift – Sprint
- Shift Lock – Left control
Touchscreen Users
Although it doesn’t mention anything on the games page, Skillful is compatible with players using a touchscreen (including tablet and phone). I tested it out myself, so I can tell you everything you need to know. Luckily, it’s pretty simple, and everything you need appears on the screen for you to select.
On the right-hand side of your screen, you have buttons for all of the main controls. This includes kick, tackle, run, calling for a pass, activating your flow, shift locking, and toggling your curve. All you have to do is press the button when you want to do that move. On the left-hand side, you have a slider you can use to control the direction your character moves. Using one of your skills is the same as on a keyboard, simply select one from the hot bar below!
