EA’s next Skate game won’t feature at EA Play Live later this week, but developer Full Circle has promised to “share a little something” with eager fans today (July 19th). In a statement over on Twitter, Full Circle said it formed its studio back in January and has been hard at work on the new game, which as of yet, hasn’t been officially named. Understandably, Full Circle says the new game isn’t “ready for prime time just yet”, and it won’t be at EA Play Live on Thursday. “It’s still early, and we are committed to doing this thing right which means it’s going to take some time,” reads the statement. However, Full Circle does say it is planning to share something on the game later today. Skate joins the seemingly ever-growing list of games that won’t be at EA Play Live this week. Earlier this month, BioWare confirmed that both of its new Mass Effect and Dragon Age games wouldn’t feature, and EA recently confirmed that a new Star Wars title wouldn’t be revealed at the event. While it doesn’t seem like there will be much at EA Play Live this week, other than more news on Battlefield 2042 and the usual showing of EA Sports titles, strong rumours suggest that EA will announce a remake of the original Dead Space. EA Play Live kicks off on July 22nd at 10am PT/1pm ET/6pm BST.
