Mark your calendars, people. Sigma has published a YouTube Premiere placeholder video teasing the launch of new products on August 4, 2021.
No additional information is shared in the placeholder image, nor in the video’s description, but the plural ‘products’ suggests it will be more than one accessory, camera or lens.
According to L-Rumors, at least one product it expects to be announced is a new 150–600mm F5–6.3 DG DN lens. While the rumored lens remains under wrap, officially, Sony Alpha Rumors (a sister site of L-Rumors) managed to get its hands on a leaked product photo, which appears to show off the zoom ring and tripod collar of the super telephoto zoom lens.
According to the graphic, the announcement video will go live at 8am (EDT UTC -4) on August 4, 2021.
