Shrimp Game Dalgona Guide
Let’s cover the details.
Starting The Round
The Dalgona Round is usually the second round of Shrimp Game, after Red Light Green Light. After the first round’s intermission you should be teleported to the Dalgona arena.
Once you get there, you’ll be presented with four blank sugar honeycomb rounds. You need to pick one. Unlike in the Squid Game show, you might have some idea what they’re for, so sadly you’re not allowed to pick which shape you want. Instead you pick one of the blank ones, and it will flip over to reveal its shape on the other side.
There are four shapes.
- Triangle (The easiest shape.)
- Star
- Circle
- Umbrella (The hardest shape.)
How To Play
Once you have your shape, the camera should zoom in on your shape and your cursor should become a needle. You need to trace around the shape in the grooves in the honeycomb with your needle. If you’ve traced properly, the path should turn green when you’ve covered it.
You must not hit the other parts of the sugar honeycomb with the needle. This risks breaking it, and if the dalgona breaks then that’s it for you. If you can trace the whole shape before the time runs out, however, then you clear the round!
Hints And Tips
- Be ready for gunshots, or even falling players.
- Every time another player fails the round, you’ll hear a loud gunshot nearby. You might even, like we did, get a player slump over into your play area after a guard took them out. Don’t let it rattle you. Pause and collect yourself if you need to. It’s crucial you don’t let your hand jump around.
- Careful on corners.
- Corner bits are some of the harder parts of each shape. This is one of the reasons why the Umbrella is tricky.
- Umbrella is totally doable.
- Even if you draw the unlucky shape, don’t be intimidated. The Umbrella is still quite possible on the first try if you don’t panic. Once you’ve made it around the handle, you’re past the worst of it.
