Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened Remake Brings The Super Sleuth To PS5, PS4 In Feb. 2023

Frogwares has announced that Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened Remake will be launching in February 2023 for PS5, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One.Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened Remake launched on Kickstarter earlier this summer, and was able to smash its $71,658 target effortlessly, and by August 5 had raised over $93,000 with 29 days to go.This revamp of the World’s Greatest Detective’s classic adventure has been built from the ground up using the Unreal Engine 4, and benefits not only from spruced-up visuals but also ‘substantial’ story rewrites, new side quests and English voiceovers.In addition, developer Frogwares has also tinkered with the relationship between Holmes and Watson, and Awakened’s detective mechanics, animations and cutscenes have been polished up.Billed as a Lovecraft meets Sherlock Holmes crossover, The Awakened sees players pitted against the Cthulhu Mythos, with Holmes investigating a series of mysterious disappearances linked to a cult worshipping an Ancient God.Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened Remake is due out in February 2023 for PS5, PS4, PC, Switch, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One.
