With Season 10: Emergence launching on August 3, we get our newest legend, Seer. So, let’s take a look at the abilities and bio of Apex Legends’ latest Legend.
Seer, the Ambush Artist, is the latest Legend to join the Apex roster. Joining alongside Season 10: Emergence, Seer is the 18th Legend in Apex Legends since it was first released. He’ll bring with him his drones to cause havoc across Apex Legends as the game’s latest recon legend.
Seer’s abilities
Passive: Heart Seeker — Hear and visualize the heartbeats of nearby enemies when aiming down sights.
Tactical: Focus Attention — Seer summons his micro-drones to emit a delayed blast that goes through walls, interrupting and revealing enemies.
Ultimate: Exhibit — Create a sphere of micro-drones that reveal the location of enemies moving quickly or fire their weapons within.
When will Seer release?
Seer will release alongside Season 10; Emergence on August 4. The update will be free, with a season pass offered to those wanting to claim extra rewards.
Seer Tips and Tricks
Seer falls into the recon legend category. Meaning he’ll be less mobile than others, however, he’ll make up for it with map and enemy awareness.
Passive: Heart Seeker — Best used in small, indoor locations. Heart Seeker will be able to keep tabs on the enemy locations through walls, doorways, or any other cover. Communication with your teammates will be key to making the best use of this ability.
Tactical: Focus Attention — The tactical is basically the medium to long ranged version of his passive. Ideal for chasing down enemy teams before they can find cover or flank you. Alternatively, the tactical will play a part in location scouting for your side. Use the drones on a location to check if it’s clear before getting yourself caught out. If the area is clear, use your Heart Seeker to check hidden locations for solo players or groups camping you as you arrive.
Ultimate: Exhibit — Seer’s ultimate combines all his other abilities into one. It might also be our first real “anti-3rd party” ultimate, with Seer able to keep track of multiple teams as they duke it out, allowing his group to maintain an optimal position.
Lastly, Seer’s ultimate will make him an ideal counter to Bloodhound, a Legend that’s been largely uncontested as a recon. Note, that unless you communicate your knowledge to your team, Seer’s abilities will go from powerful to useless in an instance.
