The PSGL F1 23 Season Finale is here with the Abu Dhabi-based track Yas Marina Circuit.
PSGL (Premier Sim Gaming Leagues) is back with round 14 in Abu Dhabi. Yas Marina is a relatively newer track in Formula 1 which was introduced in 2009 but has had some layout changes in recent years to improve the racing quality. This removed two tight chicanes and changed them to a sharp corner at the start of sector 2 and a long fast corner at the start of the 3rd sector.
With this being the final race of Season 34 the title will be decided after the race based on the results. Jarno Opmeer sits on 90 Points with Bari Broumand sitting 11 points behind him. This means Bari needs to finish at least in P2 to gain any chance of beating Jarno.
This track has two DRS zones which are separated by a slow-speed chicane. Turn 5 is a crucial corner as drivers earn DRS before this corner if they are within a second of the driver in front. If you overtake going into this corner you will have DRS whereas the driver behind won’t.
Turn 6 is a very heavy braking zone where you will see cars go from around 300 km/h down to 70 km/h in only 150 meters. This makes it a great corner for drivers to dive on the inside in hopes of getting past another driver.

Season 35 is yet to be announced but with most PSGL seasons it is expected to be back within a few months. As the F1 Esports season is expected to start soon it is not known if the current drivers will stay to compete in PSGL as it could be seen as a distraction to them.
Season 35 will have more competition as the drivers have spent more time learning the game and perfecting their car setups.
