Mural artist Jim Vision, in partnership with EndoftheLine, has created a huge mural for Bandai Namco’s just-released action RPG, Scarlet Nexus, in the heart of East London.Video games are an incredible art form that takes time, talent, and ingenuity to accomplish. When you see that mixed in with other forms of art it can become an almost surreal experience. Well, mural artist, Jim Vision, has done exactly that with his beautiful mural depicting Bandai Namco’s Scarlet Nexus. Vision spent two days in East London creating this electric neon masterpiece, using 50 cans of spray paint, 33 shades of colour, and four neon colours. “This part of East London felt like a fitting place to produce this piece of art. You look down one road and you see the quiet residential streets that were once the stomping ground of legendary London gangsters, The Krays,” says Vision. “Then you turn the corner, and you are surrounded by a huge city landscape of high-rise futuristic buildings very similar to Scarlet Nexus.”If you’d like to see the work for yourself, then you can find it on the wall opposite Second Home Spitalfields, 68 Hanbury Street, London, E1 5JL. It’ll only be up for a month, so the clock’s ticking.Scarlet Nexus released today on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, so this mural is a fitting celebration of the game’s launch. Will you be venturing to East London for a looksie at this wicked piece of art? Let us know!
