Sandwich Runner is a game about building enormous sandwiches and then stuffing them into someone’s mouth. It takes the shape of a bread-stacking auto-runner, and for the most part it’s pretty obvious what you need to do to succeed.
But there are moments when you’re going to be unsure of the best course of action. And that’s why we’ve written this guide. We’ve played a good chunk of Sandwich Runner and we reckon the strategies included here will help you out of some sticky situations.
Whether you’ve already made your first tower of delicious ingredients or you’re staring at some bread and wondering what to do next, there’s going to be something here to help you out. These are the best hints, tips and cheats for Sandwich Runner.
Avoid the excrement
It really should be common sense not to put human excrement – or any kind of excrement for that matter – in a sandwich, but we thought we’d mention it anyway. Just in case. When there’s poop in front of you, you should do everything in your power to make sure it doesn’t end up between your slices of bread.
Don’t make it too spicy
It’s fine to put a few chillis into your sandwich, but try not to go overboard. Sometimes that’s not going to be possible, but ramming too many chillis into a sandwich where you don’t need to do that is going to knock your score down. And that’s the opposite of what we’re aiming for.
Mix up your ingredients
Try and make sure you’re adding a decent mix of ingredients to your sandwich. Don’t just focus on one item, instead keep on the move and add a variety of savory goodness into your sandwich. The more variety there is, the more likely you are to get the best scores.
What’s the gold for?
You can spend the gold on getting new skins for your bread. You’ll find the option to do that in the bottom left of the screen at that start of every level. The new skins are pretty expensive, and they don’t actually add anything new to the experience, other than a visual change.
Should you increase your haul?
Well, like we said above, your gold can only make some little visual changes to the game. And since you’re already forced into watching adverts at the end of every level, you’re likely going to be pretty darn sick of them. We wouldn’t recommend increasing your gold, in other words.
