Samsung’s One UI 7.0, which is currently pegged for mid to late August release has been detailed by none other than prolific Samsung tipster Ice universe on Weibo.
His rumored changelog goes through all the new features Samsung will bring with its latest take on Android. There will be new system icons, a new background interface, a control area at the bottom of the lockscreen, and adjusted lockscreen app shortcuts.
The homescreen is getting a huge number of widgets in different sizes. There’s a new camera app interface.
With One UI 7, Samsung will give users the option to split the pull-down menu between notifications and the shortcuts/control bar.
There will also be new app opening and closing animations, new notification animations, new unlock animation, and new touch and back animations.
