Steamforged Games, in collaboration with Jagex, has released its tabletop roleplaying game and board game adaptations of RuneScape under the RuneScape Kingdoms banner.
Both RuneScape Kingdoms: The Roleplaying Game and the board game, RuneScape Kingdoms: Shadow of Elvarg were announced back in 2022. Both of these games will transport players to RuneScape’s fantasy kingdom of Gielinor, featuring fresh-but-faithful adaptations of classic quests and characters.
RuneScape Kingdoms: The Roleplaying Game uses a bespoke system that has been crafted specifically for the TTRPG. Accessible yet elegant, this title utilizes a three d6 dice mechanic, this title will feature streamlined rules.
Meanwhile, game masters will be able to utilize a detailed guide of Gielinor that ensures an authentic RuneScape campaign. Elements include character creation, magic and prayer systems, crafting and equipment, and a bestiary.
