Rune Slayer Mage Build
As a Mage, you work best remaining at a distance, unleashing your magical spells from afar. The main stats you need to consider improving are Intellect, Spirit, and Magical Critical Chance. The first two should be your overall focus, at least in the early game.
This class is a little weaker when it comes to defense stats though, but with Light Armor pieces, you’ll be fine! The Mage class has abilities that add to its defenses, so don’t forget to utilise those in battle too.
Best Weapon
The Arachnid’s Staff is a level 40 weapon that you can obtain via crafting. It deals 11 Physical DMG and adds a nice boost to your main Mage stats!
With a +4 to your Spirit stat, +26 to Intellect, and a 1% Magical Critical Rate Chance buff, it’s the perfect weapon for all Magicians and its subclasses (Warlock and Sorcerer).
Best Armor
Whether it’s the best chest plate, sash, helmet, or pants, this section goes over the strongest armor pieces for the Mage class and the Sorcerer/Warlock subclasses.
Chest Plate
This level 40 Chest plate piece boosts your Armor by 194, Spirit by 4, Intellect by 24, and increases your Magical Critical Rate chance by 1%.

Ring
Both ring options come with the same stat buffs. Intellect increases by 24, Stamina by 8, and Spirit by 5!
Helmet
At level 40, this helmet provides 97 Armor, a +2 boost to your Spirit, and a +12 increase to your Intellect stat.

Another level 40 piece of equipment! Providing 97 Armor, a boost of +2 to your Spirit stat, and an increase of 12 to your Intellect.

At level 30, you can equip the Magician’s Sash. This equipment piece boosts your Stamina by 5, your Intellect by 15, and your Spirit by 5.
